What does it mean to have a single story about a place or community?

Well it tells about a thing that you have experience.Most liking like what you have been told,seen and done.
In her story she tells about how she had misjudgments towards others.One day she moved in to college and her roommate was misjudging her. 

Describe a single story you have heard told about the your community.What is missing from that story ?How could people learn more about that community?
Well right now I am attending a school on the East side of Austin and most people (EVERYONE) thinks this part of Austin is juvenile.People always steal,fight,do drugs but they are totally wrong.That's one of the reasons the school is over here.We want to prove that we are much more than what they all think.Whats missing from this story? Well lots of things one is that we are not at all what they think we are.Learn more ? Well that's easy they can come experience what we are doing kind of like a single story.




Describe a single story you have heard about another community.How did you learn that story?How could you find out more about that community?


Ive heard that South Austin is the opposite of what they say about East Austin.They have Huge houses  and good education etc.I learned this story from friends and some from the news.I think i could find out more about his is I just visit this part of Austin.


How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community?
I don't really think that a game could be used for this kind of issue but maybe you could by making a game about communities.

#1 Cyberbulllying

This is my first blog post of the 2011-2012 school year

Cyberbullling:A cryberbully is someone who bully's from the Internet.He/she can harass someone by putting mean comments on their profiles and thinks they will get away with it.

In this movie there is a young girl named Taylor who didn't really care much about these websites but,as she got her own computer she began using a social website called Clicksters.All her friends had one so she made one for herself.Her life isn't too bad or too good its just right but one situation in her family was her dad leaving her mom for a younger women,thus Taylor having so much hatred towards him.She began t use Clicksters very often,and one day her brother hacked her page and wrote mean things about her.After that happened her friends began to acted very strange around her and make rude remarks about her.her brother conffesed and said that he was the one that wrote those mean and nasty things on her well.

Her sister was so mad to the point of not trusting his brother anymore.Taylors mom doesn't trust her anymore,she began to get crazy.Then Taylor takes back everything she had said about her dad and gave him a call asking for his help.In a few days her dad finally got back to her,thus having a talk about what has been happening.Taylor got mad and her mom tells her to shut it down but she didn't listen to her.All her friends turned on her and she felt like her worlds was falling apart.

She began to have thoughts about killing her self and made a videos saying she will.One of her friends named Samantha came to her rescue telling her not to do that.

The name of our game is....The Weather Checkers
What is it about?
This game is about ...us the team tring to teach our new generation of poeple what to do in case of a natural disaster.
What scenes have you completed?
We have completed most of our game scenes.
What parts of your team page are completed?
Our team page is all done.
How much more work do you need to complete?
we still need to put some stuff together into one whole game.
What can you do from now until Friday to get everything finished and turned in?
We will have to set our mind to the goal of finishing this game by Friday
What grade would you give yourself in Globaloria overall?
I don't really know.....of course I would want to give my self a A but in all I think we would get a B
What are all of the things you have learned this year?
Well  I have learned lots of things from tracing adding keyboard control to adding sound into our game.
What are you proud of in Globaloria?
I am very much proud to be apart of Globaloria because its a wonderful experience that I think everyone should get a Chance to experience. I mean the thrill you get from adding sounds from the excitement you get when u finish the whole game!
How can you improve next year?
Next year i will set my mind to fullfilling the game in the right maner.

Okayyyy......so first of all?Yall know the new game system the Nintendo 3DS right? Of course u do. Well i know we are all excited for this,  first of all its 3D who wouldnt want to play it.One f the things that is cool is The Nintendo 3DS has a Mii such as like the Wii and the way this is,is that u can build your own personal character to your Nintendo 3DS.Another awesome thing on this is that it has TV!!!!! It's powered by Fuji TV.Also the Nintendo 3DS will have a camera for videos and pictures such as the DSi.

I wouldn't incorporate a celebrity into my game because I think  it would be better to not do that, the reason why would be so u can be original.
If my game did ever go big in the game market I would do allof these  TV,Internet, and on a radio.
I think this is a really cool thing that SXS did.

I think that this is very inspiring to see kids actually be able to help no only they're community but all of Japan.If we had the changes to help these kids in they're attempt to help Japan I will most definitely help.Its a good thing that they are helping these people that are in need. We are so fortunate that this is not happening to us.So that's why I would try to help these people.Its really sad that this happened.All the family members that were lost ,all the friends,all my pairs go out for these people.
