Globaloria and Gamefication, Game Design, & Game Mechanics.

What do you learn in Globaloria? I've learned a lot of things but one main thing ive learned is the initial skills of learning to desing games that are connected to learning.
 .How to make animations.
.How to add sound to our game.
.How to work together in a team.
.How to impact our community with games.
 .How to help others learn.

How can these skills prepare you for a successful academic future and how could you use these skills to find a great job?
These skills are very usefull.
How to work together in a team:This is usefull for having a comfortable atmosphere that is workable.
How to impact our community with games:This skill is good for making our community a better place.
How to help others learn:This skill is pretty much self explanittory , we all have to help each other  out.

About My Topic

My Topic is about....Heist in History

This issues interests  me because....It shows many things that has happen over a long time ago from the past over to the present. It shows how people planed these genius heist that they got away with! It shows their Patience,Timing, and Planning.

I want people to learn...How to plan things out before going into action. My game will teach this by putting u into the place of the robber.

because....I feel like we as people don't really plan things out feel just got into affect without looking at the problem your set into.I am one of the many with this problem I go into affect without planning and sometimes face the consequences.

This issue needs to be addressed because...I think that we need  to show more Patience,Timing, and Planning.I want people to also learn more about the past history in our world.

I got this picture from http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/8916276/New-clues-in-DB-Cooper-hijacking-case-after-clip-on-tie-discovery.html

  • WHO are you designing your game for? I am designing this game for students from ages 12-15.So they can develop the skills of analyzing something before going into action.
  • WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? People how the managed to get a way with such elaveret heist.By showing them what skills they used.Like planing,Quickness and patience and all of this will be Incorporated into the history behind heists..
  • WHERE does your game happen? In many different places but back in history.
    • Describe the world you will design for your game. It will be a very old world where but challenging world where u have to look at things very closely.
    • How will this setting add to the learning experience? The setting will be a non distracting setting where you pay close attention to every small thing.Where you need the patience and analyzing skill.
  • HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? The player will learn about past heist in history.
    • What happens in the world that helps the player learn? The game will take you through multiple heists.
    • How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game? They will pay close attention to the things around them. They will be able to use these things in real life situations.
  • WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz? It's a different thing from just sitting down and having a book thrown at you and having to learn about this stuff like that.
